Refunds and cancellations

This policy applies to professional engagements booked with Automation Hub Pro for revenue recognition reviews and related support. It does not cover products we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refunds depend on how far the engagement has progressed and whether work product has already been prepared. Website inquiries alone do not create a payable engagement.

Timeframe

Cancellation or refund requests should be emailed to hello@automationhubpro.digital as soon as practicable, and no later than seven days after the triggering event (for example, a postponed close that removes the need for cut-off testing).

Full and partial refunds

If you cancel before we begin document review or fieldwork, we refund deposits minus a scoping fee of up to NT$15,000 for time already spent preparing the engagement letter and sample plan.

If fieldwork or document testing has started, we bill for hours or milestones completed and refund any unused deposit balance. Findings memos already delivered are non-refundable.

• Completed findings memos and delivered briefing sessions
• Third-party translation or courier costs authorised in writing
• Scoping fees once an engagement letter has been accepted and kickoff held

Process

Email your request with the engagement reference, reason, and preferred outcome (refund, credit, or reschedule). We confirm the calculation in writing within five business days.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within fourteen business days after written approval. Bank transfer fees charged by your institution remain your responsibility.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a scoped engagement once without penalty if you give at least ten business days’ notice and the new dates fall within ninety days. Shorter notice may incur a rescheduling fee of up to 15% of the fixed fee to cover reallocated fieldwork.

Deposits

Deposits secure our availability for the agreed window. Unused deposit amounts after a partial refund remain available as credit for ninety days if you prefer not to receive cash back.

No-shows and delayed materials

If kickoff is missed without notice, or promised contract files are not provided within the timeline in the engagement letter, we may charge for reserved days and re-quote the remaining work.

Work already started

Testing performed on contracts already sampled is payable even if you later narrow the scope. Narrowing scope mid-engagement does not automatically reduce fees below time incurred.

Exceptions

If we cancel for reasons within our control (illness without substitute coverage, for example), you may choose a full deposit refund or a rescheduled window at no extra fee.
